Taber Watson
Consultant, Athletic Assessment

Taber brings a wealth of experience and hands-on knowledge to the Rose College Strategies team, assessing student-athletes and advising both parents and players about the rigors and realities of college athletics. A member of the Tamalpais Union School District from 2014-2023, Taber currently teaches History and Social Studies with the Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia. A Marin native who played baseball for Redwood High School, College of Marin and Chapman University, Taber coached Redwood freshman baseball for five years, and was head coach for the Archie Willliams boy’s Varsity team for three seasons. Taber’s philosophy on succeeding as a student-athlete is to keep priorities aligned: “family first, academics second, sports third - and everything else pressing underneath that.”
